About Norweco Systems
Norweco is one of the oldest and most established names in residential wastewater treatment, with a reputation for heavy-duty concrete construction and engineering quality. Their Singulair line is the most recognized product in the aerobic treatment industry. Norweco systems are often specified by engineers for challenging sites because of their robust construction and consistent treatment performance.
TCEQ-Approved Norweco Models
Norweco offers 10 TCEQ-approved models including the Singulair Model TNT (500 GPD), Singulair 960 (500 GPD), Singulair 1060 (600 GPD), Singulair Green (500-1500 GPD), and Hydro-Kinetic FEU and Bio-Film models. The Singulair TNT and 960 are the most common residential models in our service area.
Common Norweco Maintenance & Repair Issues
Norweco systems are built to last but have brand-specific components that require knowledgeable service. Common maintenance items include the Norweco-proprietary aerator (Bio-Kinetic system), chlorinator tablet replacement, media inspection, effluent quality monitoring, and control panel service. Norweco uses a unique Bio-Kinetic aeration process that differs from standard extended aeration — technicians unfamiliar with Norweco may not service them correctly.
Our Norweco Maintenance Services
Our team has extensive experience with Norweco's proprietary Bio-Kinetic process and Singulair product line. We maintain Norweco systems according to both TCEQ requirements and Norweco's manufacturer-recommended service procedures, ensuring optimal performance and warranty compliance.
Harris County Auto-Dialer Requirement
Harris County now requires cellular auto-dialer monitoring devices on all aerobic septic systems, including Norweco units. When your system triggers an alarm — high water, pump failure, aerator malfunction, or power loss — the dialer alerts our office immediately, and we are required to respond within 72 hours. Our maintenance contracts include 24/7 auto-dialer monitoring at no additional charge.
If your Norweco system does not yet have an auto-dialer installed, we can install an RMSYS RMS-812 cellular monitoring device during a maintenance visit. The installation is $750 (hardware + labor), and the monitoring service is included in your maintenance contract.
Norweco Maintenance Contract Pricing
All Norweco aerobic systems require TCEQ-mandated maintenance every four months at minimum — Harris County requires inspections every three months (quarterly). Our maintenance contracts cover everything: inspections, county compliance reporting, 24/7 auto-dialer monitoring, and 72-hour alarm response.
