Custom System Design by a Registered Sanitarian
Most septic companies install systems designed by someone else. At Enviro-Pal, our president William Palmer is a Registered Sanitarian — qualified to perform the site evaluations, soil analyses, and engineering calculations that determine exactly what type of system your property needs.
This distinction matters because every property is different. Soil type, water table depth, lot size, slope, proximity to water features, and intended use (residential vs. commercial) all affect which system design will perform best and last longest. A system designed by someone who understands these variables from first principles — not just following a template — will outperform one that's been shoehorned into place.
Our Design Process
- Site Evaluation: Comprehensive assessment of your property's topography, drainage patterns, and existing infrastructure
- Soil Analysis: Testing of soil type, percolation rate, and seasonal water table to determine absorption capacity
- System Selection: Recommendation of the most appropriate and cost-effective system type (conventional, aerobic, drip irrigation, surface application)
- Engineering: Complete system design with sizing calculations, component specifications, and layout drawings
- Permitting: Preparation and submission of all required permit applications to Harris County, Montgomery County, or Liberty County
When You Need System Design
- Building a new home on property without municipal sewer
- Replacing a failed or aging septic system
- Adding a structure (ADU, guest house, commercial building) that increases wastewater load
- Subdividing property that requires feasibility studies
- Commercial development requiring custom wastewater solutions
