Why Maintenance Matters
Your septic system is one of the most important — and most expensive to replace — components of your property. A failing septic system can cost $6,000 to $10,000 or more to replace, while regular maintenance costs a fraction of that amount and can extend your system's life by decades.
In Texas, aerobic treatment systems are legally required to be inspected by a licensed maintenance provider every four months, with reports filed to the county permitting authority within 14 days. Failing to maintain a current maintenance contract can result in enforcement action from your county.
What's Included
Every maintenance visit by our TCEQ-licensed technicians includes a comprehensive inspection of your system's components:
- Visual inspection of all tanks, risers, and lids
- Aerator/compressor operation verification
- Pump function and float switch testing
- Effluent filter inspection and cleaning
- Chlorine/disinfection tablet check and replacement guidance
- Spray head inspection (surface application systems)
- Alarm panel and electrical component check
- Sludge and scum level measurement
- Written inspection report
- County compliance reporting (aerobic systems)
