Aeris Aerobics is a Texas-based manufacturer producing concrete aerobic treatment units out of Rice, Texas, near Dallas. Their D-series systems are engineered for Texas soil conditions and are increasingly common in the greater Houston area, particularly in newer subdivisions. The all-concrete construction provides excellent durability in the high water table environments typical of Harris County.
TCEQ-Approved Aeris Aerobics Models
Aeris offers 20 TCEQ-approved models in the D-series, ranging from the D-500-M (500 GPD) to the D-1500 (1,500 GPD). The 'C' suffix models include a built-in chlorinator compartment. Common models include the D-500-M, D-600C, D-750, D-840, and D-1100. The 'PT' suffix indicates a separate pump tank configuration.
Common Aeris Aerobics Maintenance & Repair Issues
Common Aeris maintenance items include aerator servicing, chlorinator inspection and tablet replenishment, effluent quality monitoring, pump chamber maintenance (on PT models), and control panel diagnostics. The concrete construction is extremely durable but access risers and lids should be inspected for proper sealing at each visit.

Harris County Auto-Dialer Requirement
Harris County now requires cellular auto-dialer monitoring devices on all aerobic septic systems, including Aeris Aerobics units. When your system triggers an alarm — high water, pump failure, aerator malfunction, or power loss — the dialer alerts our office immediately, and we are required to respond within 72 hours. Our maintenance contracts include 24/7 auto-dialer monitoring at no additional charge.
If your Aeris Aerobics system does not yet have an auto-dialer installed, we can install an RMSYS RMS-812 cellular monitoring device during a maintenance visit. The installation is $750 (hardware + labor), and the monitoring service is included in your maintenance contract.

All Aeris Aerobics aerobic systems require TCEQ-mandated maintenance every four months at minimum — Harris County requires inspections every three months (quarterly).
