Ecological Tanks also manufactures the Aqua Aire brand under the same product line, giving them a significant presence in the Texas aerobic system market.
TCEQ-Approved Aqua Safe Models
Aqua Safe has over 20 TCEQ-approved model configurations in the AS-series, ranging from 500 GPD (AS 500) through 1,500 GPD. Popular models include the AS 500-F, AS 600, AS500L, and the newer EZ Top and Trio NR series. The wide model range accommodates everything from small residential lots to larger properties.
Common Aqua Safe Maintenance & Repair Issues
Common Aqua Safe maintenance items include aerator servicing, chlorinator tube cleaning and tablet replenishment, spray head inspection, effluent filter cleaning, pump float adjustment, and control panel diagnostics. Ecological Tanks' Aqua Aire models share many components with the Aqua Safe line, simplifying parts sourcing.

Harris County Auto-Dialer Requirement
Harris County now requires cellular auto-dialer monitoring devices on all aerobic septic systems, including Aqua Safe units. When your system triggers an alarm — high water, pump failure, aerator malfunction, or power loss — the dialer alerts our office immediately, and we are required to respond within 72 hours. Our maintenance contracts include 24/7 auto-dialer monitoring at no additional charge.
If your Aqua Safe system does not yet have an auto-dialer installed, we can install an RMSYS RMS-812 cellular monitoring device during a maintenance visit. The installation is $750 (hardware + labor), and the monitoring service is included in your maintenance contract.

All Aqua Safe aerobic systems require TCEQ-mandated maintenance every four months at minimum — Harris County requires inspections every three months (quarterly). Our maintenance contracts cover everything: inspections, county compliance reporting, 24/7 auto-dialer monitoring, and 72-hour alarm response.
