Harris County Septic is the operating brand of Enviro-Pal, Inc., a TCEQ-licensed septic systems company headquartered in Huffman, Texas. Founded in 1993, the company provides complete on-site sewage facility (OSSF) services for residential and commercial properties across all of Harris County — with a focus on the Northeast Harris County communities where we are headquartered — plus Montgomery and Liberty Counties.
The company is led by president William D. Palmer, a Registered Sanitarian with over 50 years of experience in the on-site wastewater treatment industry. Mr. Palmer's career began in 1970 as a Health Inspector for the City of Fort Worth, continued through the Texas Department of Health (1974–1979), and has been in private practice since 1979. Enviro-Pal was incorporated in 1993.

Aerobic systems use an electrically powered aerator to inject oxygen, creating more efficient treatment similar to a municipal wastewater plant. Aerobic systems produce cleaner effluent and work on smaller lots with difficult soil conditions, but require more maintenance and have mandatory TCEQ inspection requirements.
